We’re always looking for interns to help deliver our mission. Through their participation in our health and education services – from teaching class, to being personal assistants, to answering the phone and planning events – our interns truly become an integral part of our organization. Esol Instructor

You will teach English to adults who are members of a Spanish speaking community. There are three levels to choose from.

Adult Literacy & Basic Education Instructor

You can teach either Math, Natural Science or Basic Spanish Literacy to adults who seek basic education in Spanish.

Basic Computer Literacy Instructor

You will teach students how to use a computer from scratch and work your way up to creating an email account.

Outreach Assistant

What better way to work with the community than by getting out there and informing them about what we’re doing at Mixteca.

Program Assistant

Intern as a program assistant to help plan and organize new educational and health programs that the community can benefit from.

Academic Tutor/Mentor

An after-school program to help kids with their homework and help them understand school subjects that they might have difficulty with.


Are the world’s greatest multi-tasker and fluent in Spanish? Then why not become a clerical intern and help us with our office duties.
