VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are love in motion. At Mixteca Organization Inc. our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Volunteers are the lifeblood of many non-profits, and Mixteca relies heavily on the goodwill of individuals who volunteer their time to help deliver our mission to empower the Mexican and Latin-American immigrants of the New York area by providing access to services that enhance immigrants’ quality of life and will allow them to reach sustainable social and economic development.

CREATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN YOUR COMMUNITY

Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Without you, we cannot provide individuals with access to health and education services. Our volunteers make a difference as tutors, instructors, staff for special events, and fundraisers. By offering your time, skills and enthusiasm, you will positively impact the lives of your neighbors, as well as your own.

GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

One of the best ways to learn is through experience. What better way to gain experience than to interact with members of a developing community and help them achieve a sustainable life in New York? The staff and volunteers at Mixteca Organization are a fun, professional, group of people who are dedicated to our mission and take great pride in our organization. We would love for you to join us.
